MIKEY "FUZZY BEAR" LEWIN

Mikey was a member of our team for seven years on and off as well as a lifetime friend and was undoubtedly one of the best human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His outlook of life was so reflected in his riding on the mountain, full of enthusiasm, determination, love and just a little craziness, and this made him the snowboarder that he was.

On the afternoon of the 25th of January 2005 Mikey was riding near Arc 2000 when he was caught in an avalanche. As much pain as we are feeling now, everyone I have spoken to is of the opinion it was the only way it could happen. Given the choice again, he'd of still taken the same risks he did that day. It was what made him the man he was.

He will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched, and if you knew Mike you can only begin to imagine how many lives that is. All that Mike would want is for us all to love life the way he did and always "Live the dream"

You will remain in our thoughts forever. Sleep peacefully
